• Uploaded manuscripts - Temporarily stored for translation processing
• Payment information - Processed by Stripe; we never see your card details
• Usage data - Word counts, languages selected, pages viewed

2. How We Use Your Data

• Process and deliver your translations
• Send you download links and order confirmations
• Improve our translation quality and service
• Respond to support requests

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (europe-west1 region) with encryption at rest. Uploaded manuscripts are automatically deleted within 30 days of processing. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude API) - Powers our translation engine. Your text is sent for translation and not stored by Anthropic beyond processing.

• Google Cloud - Infrastructure hosting. See Google Cloud Privacy Notice.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Export your data

6. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie (access_token) for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
